The idea of a rite of passage from boyhood to manhood is talked about constantly in masculinity circles. Well, even though lots of other world cultures have historically had one well-defined moment when a boy comes a man, either by ritual or simple pronouncement, that certainly is not the case here in the post-modern Western world.
