Ever since the movie called The Bucket List came out in 2007, plenty of people have put together their own version of it. Not everyone, however. Plenty of people are apparently content to do the ‘suburban sleepwalk’, waking up to do what they did yesterday, and what they’ll also do tomorrow, ad infinitum.

Well, my guest Roger Williams had a wakeup call in late 2020 when he suffered a heart attack. Suddenly, it was obviously a mistake to assume we can wait until retirement to do everything fun or adventurous that we’ve ever dreamed of doing. These days, he’s not only passionate about crossing off items from his own bucket list, he’s all about encouraging you to build a bucket list of your own and do the same. He even hosts a show called The Crossing It Off Podcast.

So then, what are the kind of items that are perfect to add to our own bucket lists? What would be a BAD reason to add a particular item to it? What are the kinds of things most men completely forget to add to their lists, but which surely SHOULD be added? And why is it that great experiences tend to be the lowest priority when it comes to setting our personal budgets?

Meanwhile, what is it about those amazing experiences that just might make them a better investment than anything else? And what is it about the way men and women are wired differently that makes it nothing short of mission-critical for us as men to build that bucket list?

Come for the inspiration, stay for the stories about barbecue, ukuleles and pro wrestling. And YES…the first step to getting out of your rut and start doing what you really want is to get your hands on the new Un-Settled program: https://mountaintoppodcast.com/unsettled
