It seems like everyone and their mother is hyping up the idea of ‘living your best life’ nowadays. But my guest Dr. Jeremy Zoch, author of Life Lived Well: A Collection of Tips, Insights, and Inspirations to Live Not a Great Life, But Your Best Life is putting a somewhat unique spin on it which is well worth paying attention to.

You see, most advice out there on the subject is generally aimed toward people who aren’t anywhere near where they want to be, and might not even know how to get there. But in Jeremy’s case, life was already pretty good. What he realized, however, is since we all only get one shot at life, it doesn’t necessarily make sense to do the same thing for decades and decades, despite how ‘nice’ your life may be.

Any of you guys who’ve gone through my Un-Settled program already know this is a thought process that’s near and dear to my own heart as well. The cool twist on what Jeremy talks about is you don’t necessarily have to commit to total upheaval of your entire lifestyle to get more out of life. Rather, there are simple building blocks you can put in place to make that happen.

How can you go beyond the simple concepts of where you live and what you do for a living to create a better life without uprooting absolutely everything in the process? And what’s more, how can you gain greater respect AND influence even as you make the changes?

What is a ‘life map’? Finally, what is Jeremy’s unique spin on what it means to be ‘present’, vis-a-vis the shop-worn usage of that term?
